Refund Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
Try SHAINY AI free for 7 days. This policy explains refunds and cancellation, which Paddle handles as our Merchant of Record.
1. Who processes your payment
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Billing, payment methods, invoices, cancellations and refunds are handled on Paddle’s self-service pages, which you can open from the link in the email Paddle sends after your purchase, or at paddle.net. For anything about SHAINY AI itself, use the help in the App or on shainy.ai, or email [email protected].
All purchases of SHAINY AI plans are made through Paddle. Refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method. Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.
2. Free trial
Paid plans may start with a 7-day free trial. You won’t be charged during the trial. If you cancel before the trial ends, you won’t be charged at all. We’ll remind you before the trial ends.
3. Refunds
All purchases are non-refundable except where required by law, at Paddle’s discretion within 14 days (see Paddle’s Refund Policy), or as described below.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you agree at checkout that the service starts immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once it starts.
4. How to request a refund
- Open the link in the email Paddle sent after your purchase, and choose to request a refund; or
- Go to paddle.net, look up your order with the email address you used to buy, and request a refund there.
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method. Your bank may take 5–10 business days to show the refund.
5. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel at any time on Paddle’s subscription page, opened from the link in the email Paddle sends after your purchase or from paddle.net. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep paid features until the end of the period you’ve paid for, and then your account moves to the Free plan. There are no cancellation fees. Cancelling on its own does not trigger a refund.
6. Other situations
- Service problems. If a fault on our side stops the Service from working for a meaningful period, report it through the help in the App or at [email protected]. You are entitled to have it fixed or to a refund or credit for the affected time.
- Charged by mistake. If you were charged twice or after cancelling, request a refund on Paddle’s page; such charges are refunded in full.
- If we discontinue the Service. We’ll give at least 30 days’ notice and refund prepaid fees for the period after the Service ends.
- Your legal rights. Nothing in this policy limits rights you have under consumer protection laws, including any statutory rights in your country.
- Abuse. We may decline refunds where there is evidence of fraud or repeated refund requests to obtain the Service for free, to the extent the law allows.
7. Team plans
For Team plans, the administrator who manages billing can request refunds under this policy for the team’s payments.
This also applies to Team plans: when a Team subscription ends, the workspace moves to the Free plan.
